SGCC is hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (JIS), also known as GI, which is a steel grade in Japan. SGCC is a type of steel raw material that mainly relies on foreign imports. Due to its complex manufacturing process and high technical requirements, it is mainly imported from developed countries such as Europe and America.
The production process is to increase the welding area through the promotion and welding effect of the flux, so that the raw material affected by the flux reacts with zinc water, forming an oxide film on the surface of the raw material. This oxide film can provide protection for raw materials, with good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, compression resistance, and ductility, making it an excellent steel raw material.
SGCC has a wide range of applications, commonly used in the manufacturing of small household appliances and other sheet metal applications with generally high corrosion resistance.
